DUBAI: The 19th edition of the yearly basis Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development (DIHAD 2023) is anticipated to take place on the 13th-15th of March at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with priority on energy and aid and ways to capitalise on available resources.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, DIHAD 2023 will unite important stakeholders from top NGOs, UN Agencies, Charity Organizations, and government entities.
Additionally, aid, education, and construction providers from the private sector will collaborate to meet the needs of individuals and countries impacted by crises, disasters, and natural calamities.
DIHAD 2023 is anticipated to attract approximately 8,200 participants from 110 countries, including 828 NGOs, charities, and humanitarian providers. Among them, 82 eligible buyers have scheduled 659 business-to-business meetings to discover top-tier equipment to aid them in the field.
The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) is among the NGOs involved in attending DIHAD 2023. Based in Malaysia, MAPIM is a non-governmental organisation that focuses on humanitarian aid, fundraising, disaster management with local and international interests.
The DIHAD 2023 conference will also feature 50 of the world’s most renowned experts in humanitarian fields, holding critical discussions on six main topics and 16 innovative workshops that provide essential insights and training in energy and aid.
DIHAD 2023 is supported by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, the World Muslim League, Al Mustafa Welfare Trust and more.
